Already 30 calls in the books for 2019. In 2017 Huizen realized the construction of a floating key with the capacity for two river cruise ships next to each other. In December the facilities where finalized and in 2018 a limited number of cruise ships where welcomed in Huizen . For 2019 the season looks very promising in the nostalgic nautical centre of Huizen, already 30 reservations have been made. Huizen is currently developing fitting activities to attract the cruise ship passengers for visits. The potential for Huizen and the Gooi and Vecht region as a cruise destination is considerable but needs further development.
